NO BOTTOMLINE

It’s annoying how PHCN chooses to cut off power supply when my movie is getting interesting. There are so many things I want to say but I chose not to because my words are sometimes against me and swallowing them back could get me choked up. Why would you commit suicide and go to hell? If you’re hell bound, why not rock the world and repent not? Well, what do I know, aye?
I’m wondering what hair stunt RIHANNA is going to pull off after the Redhead theme, maybe purple. I can’t believe I once called ADELE “Adèlé” (use your Yoruba tongue if you’ve got one or ask). Sometimes, I think of the use of a TIME MACHINE-its versatility wows me but it’s apparently not real so I’ll put a full stop to that.
I wanna be successful so freaking BAD. As little as “1” can be, it can make so much difference. Less I forget, HAHA! I was freakingly punked the other day.

#Trend- COLOUR BLOCKING

It’s no news that the colour blocking trend is alive and rocking this season. My first encounter with it got me thinking it was sort of a colour riot, so I resorted to making my research to get information about what it’s really about. To apply this look;
*You have to know your skin tone.
*Find colours that enhance it.
*Co-ordinate your colours accordingly.
What more way is there, to look fab this summer? Put the neutrals (the blacks and whites) to rest and glam up with bright colours. Dig out those gorgeous outfits from your closet.
Below is a picture of me colour blocking alongside others, watch and learn.

Love + Price Tag

Love is an affectionate feeling for another who may not necessarily be the opposite sex; it could be expressed to friends both male and female alike, colleagues and even our pets...lol. It is mostly misconstrued with Lust- which is a sexual desire, obsession- almost psychotic and near suicidal;  the character played by Idris Elba who starred alongside Beyonce Knowles in OBSESSION will give you a load down on his experience , infatuation and a host of others which isn’t mentioned but, I presume you know.

Animals don't Fret

Just yesterday, I was about climbing up the stairs to my house when I discovered a ram fastened to an iron rod. The ram stared at me, I did same. Its gaze was so strong on me, even as I went round in circles just to be close enough to the stairs. Precisely as I predicted, it let out this “meeeh” sound in a loud pitch even as I fled upstairs for my life’s sake; imagine that.
It’s so appalling how rude Lagos animals can be. For crying out loud! Science clearly points out that human beings are higher animals; higher implies seniority and that in itself is self-explanatory. Some weeks back, I was tapping joyously on my lappy when a gecko came out of the blue. I’m not done yet, it sensed my presence and gave “side-glances” of which it didn’t scramble away until I sent my flip-flops spinning towards it.
Last month, I and a friend were strolling to a shop to get dinner when a BIG rat dazzled us by using my friend’s leg as a zebra crossing... Of course! She screamed and I laughed so hard, I was almost in tears.
This morning, I walked past a hen and a cock feasting and dishing out judgment to a discarded meal. The duo didn’t do as much as flutter or run off, they continued with their business. Truth be told, animals would always be animals. They have a sense of their own, but they do a very good job of living up to their name...

hardcore chic

So, today boredom decided to creep in but me being the tough one that I am...lol. I put on a tough skin and said 'NO' by flipping through  the pages of a Harper's Bazaar magazine. This magazine has suffered from my hands through my continuous act of using it as my boredom fallback-upon, but, what the heck? its a fashion magazine.
I took my time to scrutinize the pages calculating the cost of some piece of clothing or shoe. mehn! the costs of some items in this mag is enough to start a business #Nokidding. Designer items are no child's play. Meanwhile, I stumbled upon a feature on the British Fashion Award, Victoria Beckham was looking smashing in her own label, she wore a draped black dress with a thigh-high slit from her s/s collection; i admire her go-getter behaviour plus she's style's definition itself. The part that caught my eye, very funny indeed , was a caption which reads,
"During dinner, Erin O' Connor discarded her vintage shoes, but kept her feet firmly tucked under her chair"
Cameras this days are not smiling, but her picture was taken alongsides the shoes under the table. I'm not blaming the camera, all i'm saying is that we all should beware of our acts in public. When in heels, be graceful enough to leave it on.If it hurts; yeah! you knew that before you put it on. Let's be chic all the way.

The lÖÖk that Made heads turn...

So last Sunday has come and gone and with much gratitude for good health and stability, a great semester ends. There was much hype about this Sunday ‘cos its the last (we hope so). A lot went into it, girls were trad-o-crazy in the bid to outshine others with their stunning looks and guys were just amazing.
Anyway, I thought to myself, that I could not afford to be left out in this drama and did I bring drama? Yes, I did... My proposed fabric wasn’t really vibrant, so, I gave my tailor a mixed up and twisted design to add that “It” pop to the dress at least that’s what these is about. I also decided to tie a June Ambrose turban, but it went all wrong- guess I need more tutorial on that one. I fashioned out my own version of it which gave me “the attention”..The drama was hilarious and sick; the choir was oohh-la-la. The oddest thing was that non-choir members sang; they totally rocked it. After all, last Sunday is dedicated to the graduating class. I must say, that I got to church when everyone was seated (except the minister...lol) and that multiplied the lookery(permit me). Here goes the look.....

Shoes: jezebel by BAKERS
Beads by Opal
Dress: made with two random Ankara fabrics

That aside, i’m still rocking my scarves like no other. All thanks to one hairstylist that wanted to spoil my shine with an ugbeke style, but trust... i brought sexy back.
